Harinaa silk ikat handwoven saree
‘Harinaa’ draws its name from the graceful deer i.e the Sambal Deer of Odisha, revered as the state animal and a symbol of gentleness in the wild.
Handwoven in pure silk through the Ikat technique of Maniabandha, the saree narrates the quiet poetry of Odisha’s forests; where the deer moves in harmony with the landscape, beneath canopies of trees and birds in flight. The interplay of deep maroon and black lends the weave its depth and dignity; a balance of strength and stillness that defines the spirit of Harinaa. Each piece carries the rhythm of the loom and the soul of the artisan, translating the wilderness of Odisha into wearable art.
Un-stitched blouse piece is available with the saree.
Subtle variations in colour and texture reflect the handmade nature of this textile.
